The Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club is pleased to announce that Luke Boyd has taken on the reins of the Senior Women’s team for 2019.
Luke makes the step up to Senior coach after two years as a Senior Assistant Coach under Tom Stafford. Luke, alongside Tom, was a key component in the Senior Womens side that made two consecutive Grand Final appearences in the Womens Premier Division, in which they won the inaguaral Grand Final in 2017. Luke brings a wealth of football knowledge as a former player for the Senior Mens team through the early 2000s.

Luke will be ably assisted by Tim Money, former President of the club and Premier C Reserves premiership captain, and the club is excited about the next evolution of our Women’s teams as they go from strength to strength.
As with the appointment of Luke as our Senior Womens Coach, we must farewell Tom Stafford from the role. As previously stated, Tom was the Head Coach of a dominant Womens team that has been a constant success in the Premier Division for its first two years. His impact on Womens football at the Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club has been instrumental, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
Furthermore, to ensure the success and sustainability of the club it is vital that we have the financial support of past players, family, friends, and the Marcellin community. This is particularly important for the newly formed Women’s teams to ensure their continued success and long-term sustainability.
The club has a number of options for you to show your support, through either a Club Supporter Membership, Sponsor a Player, or Donate to the Club. Any level of support would be greatly appreciated by all players and club!
