The Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club would like to congratulate and acknowledge the hard work and professionalism of Anthony “Bluey” McGlin as he plays his 200th game against Ajax this week.

Bluey joined the club after graduating from Marcellin College in 2003 and was an integral part of the U/19s premiership team in 2005. The club’s first premiership in the U/19 Premier Division. Since that time, Bluey has earned the respect and admiration of his peers, supporters and opponents for his ruthless, unrelenting and tenacious attack on the football. He is the epitome of a Marcellin footballer: skilful, dedicated, team-orientated and resilient; all of which have seen him win numerous club awards.

While he is relatively quiet and unassuming off the field, he lets his actions on the field do the talking. A much loved and admired teammate, we congratulate and thank Bluey for his fantastic contribution to the Club.

Bluey is now a deserved Life Member of the Club.
